We bid farewell to Agostino R. Squeglia Jr. of Amsterdam, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Agostino touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Agostino departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Agostino. Though Agostino may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Agostino Squeglia and Rose Squeglia (Baia); his wife Janice M. Stouffer; and his brother Pasquale Squeglia. He is survived by: his children, Rachel Smith (Gregory) of Rock Hill, SC, Jessica Squeglia of Peabody, MA and Charles Squeglia of Amsterdam; his brother Anthony Squeglia of Tribes Hill; and his cousin Julie Baia (Bob) of Amsterdam. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
