He is survived by: his former wife Annie Lou Mendenhall; his wife Rachel Elizabeth Hargrove; his children, Charles Truesdale, Michael Smith, Steven Smith, Cynthia Hunter, Deborah King and Denise Smith; and his stepdaughters, Benetta, Rachel, Selena and Angela. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren;1 daughter in law; 3 sister in laws; 2 brother in laws; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
