She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Murphy; her sons, Michael O. Murphy and Daniel P. Murphy; and her sister Elizabeth Wichert. She is survived by: her sons, John J. Murphy, Jr. (Joan), James W. Murphy and Neil D. Murphy (Newt); her grandson Christopher McCarthy; and her siblings, John W. (Buddy), Theodora Toomey (Teddy), Anne Bayha and Mary Engelbert. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
