It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Collins (Amityville, New York), born in Franklin Square, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bill, Ronnie, Benjamin, Rosalind and Ethel; and her husband Lloyd Collins of Amityville.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Collins, Jr. (Barbara), Brad Collins (late Denise Collins) and Sharon Elizabeth Collins; her sisters-in-law, Virginia Collins and Jeanie Fisher; her niece Beverly Budget; her friends, Margie Smith Mae Tobias, Odessa McKlurkin and Bernice White; her grandchildren, Keith, Jamisha, Daniel, Jeremy, Lloyd Collins III and Jhante; and her great grandchildren, DeAndre, Korey, Genysis, Mckenzie, Jaydin, Journi and Ja'lani. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Powell Funeral Home (67 Broadway, Amityville, NY 11701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Amityville Cemetery (55 Harrison Ave, Amityville, NY 11701).
