She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Magee and LonieNell Magee; her grandson Xavier Williams; and her siblings, MaryNell Magee and Robert Knight.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ray Newsome; her children, Terron Newsome of Copiague, Yolanda Williams of Farmingdale and Jeremiah Magee of Fayetteville; and her siblings, Dennis Magee, James Magee, Arthur Magee, Marcellus Magee, Ruthie Lindo, Mammie Magee and Iona Magee. She is also survived by her son-in-law, three daughters-in-laws, 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prayer Tabernacle Church of God in Christ (3550 Great Neck Rd, Amityville, NY 11701). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
