John J. McDonnell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. McDonnell of Amityville, New York, who passed away on March 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. McDonnell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Kathleen Quinton, Margaret Wolf and Patricia Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Fullan); his children, Michael (Diana), Matthew (Dawn), Maura Howard (John), Colin and Joseph (Jeannie); and his grandchildren, Austin, Matthew, Annalise, Madeline, Lily, Camille, John and Daniel.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home (99 Oak St, Copiague, NY 11726). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption RC Church (1 Molloy St, Copiague, NY 11726).
