He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Murray. He is survived by: his children, Jay Fruin of San Diego, CA, Rita Fruin of Wantagh, NY, Karen Collings of Harwich, MA, Elaine Fruin of Bethpage, NY and Michael Fruin of Yucaipa, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many colleagues and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel (4980 Merrick Rd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima R. C. Church (2 Bayview Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
