We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 91, Hugh D. Morrison (Amityville, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Hugh leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Hugh may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (67 Broadway, Amityville, NY 11701). A requiem service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (175 Broadway, Amityville, NY 11701). An entombment will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
