He was predeceased by: his wife Hope; his father Howard, Sr.; and his sister Anne. He is survived by: his mother Catherine; and his siblings, Susan Dodge (William), Barbara, Catherine Stephan (William), Irene Yee (Glenn), Janet Andrade (Peter), Karen Tuohy (Thomas) and Kevin (Christina). He is also survived by 6 nephews, 8 nieces, 12 great nieces, 8 great nephews and 1 great great nephew.
