He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa Munkert; and his granddaughter Grace. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Jennifer Slack (Joseph); his grandchildren, Joseph, II and Juliette; his sisters, Teresa McGuire (William), Mary Ann Schneider (late Norman) and Christine Carswell (David); and his pet Samson.
In addition to the several organizations mentioned earlier, George had many other causes and organizations he liked to support, so the family is asking, as an alternative to flowers, and to recognize George's giving spirit, that you please make a memorial contribution to your favorite charity or the charity of your choice.
