With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve G. Triola (Amityville, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 18, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gackowski and Josephine Gackowski; her siblings, Stanley Gackowski and Mary Starace; her son Gene Triola; and her significant other Anthony Caiola.

She is survived by: the mother of her child Laurie Triola Murphy; her grandchildren, Billy Murphy (Brittany), Kyle Murphy (Anna), Collin Murphy (Madelyn Rivera) and Kayleigh Murphy; her great grandchild Tait Murphy; and her nieces, Tracey Starace, Pamela Gackowski Botway and Susan Gackowski.

Following a ten year battle with Alzheimer's Gen passed peacefully and received her angel wings on May 18, 2019.
