He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Montagano and Philomena Montagano; and his siblings, Pasquale Montagano, Clara Newell and Maria Stalvey.

He is survived by: his sisters, Theresa Russo and Jeanette Montagano. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
