He is survived by: his wife Michelle Viggiani; his children, Jessica Sherman of Albany, NY, Shyla Winters of Westfield, MA, Haley Winters of Amenia, NY and Alexis Winters of Amenia, NY; and his grandchild Keren Moton.

“Dear Michelle, Jessica, Shyla, Haley and Alexis, I got to know Paul first by working with him on the Wastewater Committee and later supported him as a member of the Town Board. His loss was a terrible shock to the entire community, but is surely felt most deeply by you five. I wanted to extend my condolences in person, but my son-in-law's mother died Monday and my wife and I head to Pittsburgh tomorrow morning for the funeral.
