She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Deso and Evelyn Deso (LaFlore); and her grandchildren, Ethan and Lauren. She is survived by: her children, Starr, Sheila, Mark and Sheldon; her grandchildren, Shelby, Tyler, Lacey and Alex; her cousin Nancy; her uncle Doug; and her pets, Nora, Remy, Sophie, Hank, Jessie Rae and Duck. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the CVPH Skilled Nursing Facility.
