He was predeceased by: his parents, Velia Lucia and Eva Lucia (Hemingway); his wife Betty K. Pepin of Patrick's Church; his siblings, Donald, Roger (Hildred Lucia), Dolphus (Bessie Lucia) and Doris; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Goodrow, Henry Pepin, Charles St. John, Harold Hyde, Herman LaValley, Donald Young, Richard Naro and Patricia Pepin.
He is survived by: his children, David (Laurie Lucia), Bishop Douglas Lucia, Ann (Barry Chauvin) and Paul (Krista Lucia); his grandchildren, Adam, Kathryn Lucia, Nicholas, Brianna Lucia, Ashley Wahl and Brittany Lucia; and his great grandchildren, Kinley Lucia and Anthony Caruthers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to the Altona Fire Dept and Holy Angels Church in Altona.
