He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Bushey and Ethel Bushey (Lafave); his brother Steve Bushey; and his parents-in-law, Mildred and Donald Lashway.

He is survived by: his wife Debra Bushey; his sons, Craig Bushey (Melissa) and Corey Bushey (Trista); his siblings, Mike Bushey (Jeannie), Mark Bushey (Ann), Neil Bushey (Betty) and Robin Bushey (Penny); and his grandchildren, Logan Bushey, Corey Bushey, Cameron Bushey (Allyson), Calli Bushey, Colton Bushey, Korelle Bolster, Trystan Bolster and Alexus Bolster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
