She was predeceased by: her mothers, Velia Lucia and Eva Lucia; her husband Donald Young; and her siblings, Dolphus Lucia, Roger Lucia, Donald Lucia, Leeward Lucia, Doris Goodrow and Theresa Naro.
She is survived by: her children, Marc Young (Phyllis), Stephen Young (Brenda), Neil Young (Kay), Karen Leonard (Michael) and Lisa Heintz (Peter); her sister Marie LaValley; her sisters-in-law, Palmina Boyd and Joyce Young; and her grandchildren, Craig Young, Brent Young, Bryan Young, Michelle Lubberts, Erica Leonard, Shelly Bedard, Joseph Leonard, Hunter Young, Christopher Beach and Brandon Beach. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Angels (522 Devils Den Rd, Altona, NY 12910).
