With solemn reverence, we commemorate Burton W. Porter of Altona, New York, whose life came to an end on January 11, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlton Porter and Joan Porter (French); and his sisters, Hope Pinette, Alice Kupfer and Ruth Attanasio.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Porter (Higgins); his children, Dianne Porter (Rich Farley), Burton Porter, Jr. (Zosia) and Edward Porter (Linda); his grandchildren, Sarah Moore (AJ), Burton Porter III (Summers), Jesse Porter, Cheyana Porter-Rizzo, Katrina Porter and Morgan Porter; his great grandchildren, Evelina, Lucille Porter, Isaac, Amelia, Molly Moore and Eleanor Porter; and his sister Carol Neilsen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Turnpike Wesleyan Church (2224 Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, NY 12901).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Turnpike Wesleyan Church, or your favorite charity.
