With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard A. LaFave of Altona, New York, who passed away on March 15, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Leo LaFave and Melvina LaFave (Snide); his brothers, Floyd and Wallace LaFave; his sons-in-law, Steve Surprenant and Gary Garrand; his parents-in-law, Leo and Irene Bushey; and his brother-in-law Leo Bushey.
He is survived by: his children, Tony, Wanda Surprenant and Beverly Garrand; his grandchildren, Bradley Surprenant (Tricia), Tisha Davis (Nathaniel), Jason Garrand (Jami), Jennifer Aubrey (Joey), Nicholas LaFave (Jess Souza), Miranda LaFave, Patrick LaFave and Jesse (Jennie); his great grandchildren, Lydia Surprenant, Jason, Landon, Jaylee Garrand, Dylan and Mia Monette; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mya, Johna Poissant, Brooke and Brianna Aubrey; his siblings, Dorothy Pelkey, Jerome LaFave (Brenda) and Kenneth LaFave; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley LaBarge and Diana Clark.
