He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Jackson; his wife Sandra Electra Jackson (Cornell); and his sister Elizabeth "Lizzy" Barlow. He is survived by: his children, James Jackson Jr. (Patricia) of Clay, Martha Basler of Altmar, Lon Jackson (Katherine) of Sandy, UT, Carl Jackson (Sato) of San Diego, CA and Michael Jackson (Betsy) of Bridgeport. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
