She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Fischer and Cecelia Fischer; her sons, Fredy (Teresa) and H. J.; her parents-in-law, Ken and Mildred Wheeler; and her siblings-in-law, Kenny Wheeler, Doris, Joyce, Charlotte Wheeler and Josephine Van Winkle.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert J. Wheeler; her son Klaus; her grandchildren, Kristin, Mathias Mayer, Marc, Kim Wheeler of Mannheim, Jonathan, Stacie Wheeler, Michael, LeeAnn Wheeler of Virginia, Samantha Wheeler of Germany, Joshua, Haley and Ayden Wheeler of Virginia; her great grandchildren, Felix Mayer, Max Wheeler, Maddie, Rhys, Jocelyn and Presley Wheeler; and her in-laws, Jan, Bob Oakes, Peg, Bob Kennedy, Bill, Pat Wheeler, Beverly Wheeler and James Van Winkle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
