She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hugh Cummings and Isabelle Cummings (Warren); her husband James Barnard, Jr.; her children, Cynthia Banach (Joe), Lori LaPine (Kevin), Scott Barnard (Kathleen), Bruce Barnard (Cary), Nancy Piraino (Joe), Gary Barnard (Lisa), Daniel Barnard (Valerie) and Mark David Barnard; and her sister Patricia Meredith. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Donations may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
