She was predeceased by: her husband Milton J. Burns; her sisters, Carolyn Payne and Marian O'Connor; and her parents, C. Marian Wemple and John Gilbert Wemple.
She is survived by: her children, Scott David of Kagoshima, James Daniel (Abraham) of New York, NY and Heather J. Pinedo-Burns (Aristides) of Haverhill, MA; and her brother John G. Wemple. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
