With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garrett Joseph Aldershoff (Altamont, New York), born in Glenville, New York, who passed away on February 7, 2019 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hendricks Aldershoff and Anna Aldershoff (Zderdicka); his wife Della May (Dancause); and his siblings, Henry Aldershoff, John Aldershoff, Elsie Hansen, Frances Halsdorf, Ann Adams and Mary Relyea.
He is survived by: his children, Garrett J. Aldershoff (Debbie) of Scotia, N. Y., John H. Aldershoff (Jane) of Lumberton, N. J. and Donna L. Rechter (Jeff) of Belle Mead, N. J; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joseph Aldershoff, Brian and Melissa Rechter; and also, Phyllis Relyea and Pat. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
