It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon C. Estey Sr. (Alpine, New York), born in Little Falls, New York, who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Estey and Mae Estey (Hadcock); and his siblings, George, Francis Estey and Virginia Karla.
He is survived by: his spouse Claire A. LeGrand; his children, Vernon, Jr. (Teresa) of Little Falls, Robert of Little Falls, Sheila Pierce (Gary) of Little Falls, Patricia Hilligas (Eric) of Little Falls and Timothy (Gail) of Oppenheim; his sister-in-law Betty Foster of Ilion; and his daughter-in-law Rebecca Edick Estey. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
