It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward A. Phoenix of Alpine, New York, born in Norwich, New York, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Phoenix and Bertha Phoenix (Hoyt); his wives, Mae Phoenix and Gertrude Phoenix; his stepsons, Hurdon Hastings and Vernal Hastings; and his sister Ethel Weis.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Kingsley Robinson (Cindy) of Montrose, PA, Ted Robinson of Norwich, NY and Michael Phoenix of Portland, OR; and his sisters, Gladys Toon (Fred) of Leesburg, FL and Beverly Brown of Norwich, NY. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
