It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita C. Gooch of Allentown, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. McGee and Florence McGee (Canton); and her siblings, Robert (Eleanor), Thomas (Rose), Eugene McGee, Nancy McGee, Margaret Kremer (Clarence), Jane Gath and Kathleen Wozniak.
She is survived by: her husband Cliff; her children, MaryBeth Thompsett (John) of Scio, Jeffrey Gooch (Elania) of Rochester, Lesley Gooch-Christman (Jon) of Wellsville and Jennifer Gooch-Johnston (David) of Rochester; her grandchildren, Emily Thompsett (Lucas Jandrew), Hannah Thompsett (Kevin Walsh), Abby Christman (Justin Perrelli), Olivia [Stephen Hoffman] (Christman), Ellyn Gooch, Graham Gooch, Noah Johnston and Clay Johnston; her great grandchild Sonny Christman Perrelli; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Wozniak (Pat), Hank Gath, Shirley Reinig and Betty Windover. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
