Walter T. Roosa Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter T. Roosa of Allegany, New York, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob I. Roosa and Ruth Dayton Roosa; his former wife Barbara; and his siblings, Marion Love, Muriel Duffus and Warren "Jake" Roosa.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Smith of Saranac Lake, NY; his grandsons, Benjamin (Natalie), Andrew and Luke; his son Bruce (Kathy) of Allegany, NY; his grandchild Kyle (Christina); his son Paul of Hancock, NH; his grandchildren, Kevin and Kylie; his fiancée Brenda; and his great grandchildren, Allison, Claire Smith and Gray Roosa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and one cousin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Walden Methodist Church or St. Jude's.
