It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet Halladay (Allegany, New York), who passed away at the age of 89, on May 14, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Potter and Leora Fay Potter; and her brothers, Wesley Potter, Donald Potter and Leneal Potter.
She is survived by: her husband Philip Wells Halladay; her children, Janice Law of Stafford, VA, Allen Halladay (Linda) of Humphrey, Jim Halladay (Grace) of Lewisberry, PA, Judson Halladay of Cumming, GA and Lorraine Bailey (Jeffrey) of Attleboro, MA; and her sisters-in-law, June Potter (Leneal) and Cec Potter (Wesley). She is also survived by her siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19 quarantine mandates, only a graveside service will acknowledge her final resting place at the Allegany Protestant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests her memory be honored with gifts to the Allegany Baptist Church, 3236 Maple Ave, Allegany, NY 14706 or to the Humphrey Volunteer Fire Department, 4591 Humphrey Rd, Great Valley, NY 14741 .
