As Evelyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Evelyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dana Grimes and Elva Studley Grimes; her husband Frank Young; and her children, Duane Young and Pamela Young.
She is survived by: her children, Laraine Wray (Sam) of Hunt, Evelyn Kramer of Bradford, PA and Douglas Young (Ellen) of Allegany. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home (3128 W State St, Olean, NY 14760). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
