He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis A. Sherwin and Maxine F. Enders Sherwin; and his siblings, Donald Sherwin, Kenneth Sherwin, Richard Sherwin and Georgia Page.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Newpher; his stepchildren, Diane Hilyer (John) of James City, PA, Kenneth Mohney (Sheila) of Ludlow, PA and James Mohney (Sharon) of Sheffield, PA; and his sister-in-law Donna Sherwin of Allegany.
