He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl V. Margeson and Georgianna Bockoven Margeson; and his brother Michael Francis Margeson. He is survived by: his children, April Crisafulli of Allegany, Amy Benjamin of Allegany and Anthony Margeson (Jen) of Allegany; his grandchildren, Lior Crisafulli, Calum Crisafulli, Kymber Benjamin, Teagan Benjamin, Marek Benjamin, Jenna Margeson, Tayden Margeson and Jaydalyn Margeson; and his brothers, Carl V. Margeson (Deborah) of Olean, Tim Margeson of Olean and Christopher Margeson of Olean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
