She was predeceased by: her parent Rochester; and her husband Mel. She is survived by: her nephew Preston Mayes (Traci); her stepchildren, Randy Shaffer (Karen), Sheryl Goodlein (Glen) and Bob Shaffer (Elana); her grandchildren, Rich Shaffer (Jeanne), Evan (Denise), Bret Shaffer, Alison Goodlein and Christine Maneti (Trevor); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Vanderhoof (Wes) and Marie Nygren. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or the National Kidney Foundation in Susan's memory.
