He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Phillipson and Celia Rosinsky Phillipson; his wife Rita Phillipson; his brothers, Bernard and Ronald Phillipson; his daughter Darcey Phillipson; and his great grandchild Lia Higgins.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Burdick (Brad) of Alfred Station, Jo-Anne Freeland (Paul) of Almond, Julie Phillipson of Buffalo and Mark Phillipson (Diana Lyn) of Bath; and his grandchildren, Kurt Phillipson (Jennifer), Kori Colgrove (Scott), Samanatha Tiano (Mark), Sarah Covel (Mike), Melissa Higgins, Shaun Freeland (Meggan), Robert Freeland (Jen) and Katherine Warner (Jason).
