She was predeceased by: her son Dennis "Lumpy" Allen; her husband Ralph Allen; and her siblings, Benjamin Nye, William Nye, Dale Nye, Joann Burdick and Janice Burdick.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Allen (Robin Adkins) of Delmar, DE, Sherry Winans (Lloyd) of Andover and Susan Snyder (Mike) of Alfred Station; and her siblings, Shirley Green (Duane), Linda Trescott (Steve), Ruth Kimble (Dave), Claudine Munsell (Kirk), Debra Price (Joe), Virgil Nye (Pat) and Jim (Pam). She is also survived by 15 Grand children; 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Betty's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the Alfred Station Fire Department, PO Box 282, Alfred Station, NY 14803 or to The Hart Comfort House, 141 East State St., Wellsville, NY 14895.
