Susan M. Merrihew Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan M. Merrihew of Alexandria Bay, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan M. Merrihew to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward J. Walentuk and Gloria Guerrieri Walentuk; her friends, Kavanaugh and Donna Millett; her daughter Katie Durand (Brian); her grandchildren, Ellie and Jackson Durand; and her siblings, Martha Ivey (Thomas) of Clayton, NY, Joel Walentuk (Dawn), Joan Travis (Lance) of Forestburg, NY, Michael Walentuk, Alexandria Bay and Mary Cummings (James) of Alexandra Bay, NY. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costello Funeral Home (113 Church St, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607). A Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Cyril's Church (28 Walton St, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607).
