He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl A. Ward and Jennie L. Ward (Roy); and his wife June. He is survived by: his children, Gawaine Ward (Lorraine) of Alexandria Bay and Jacquelyn Strough (Doug) of Alexandria Bay; his grandchildren, Jessica Ridsdale (Carlton), Danielle Ward, Ryan Strough (Andria), Justin Strough (Erin Hunneyman) and Genesis Scales (Robert); his great grandchildren, Alexis Ridsdale, Grady, Henry Scales and Maren Strough; and his brother Frederick "Buzz" Ward (Gayle).
