Ruth Carter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Carter of Alexandria Bay, New York, born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald Garbutt and Edna Garbutt (Parker); her husband Alfred J. Carter, Sr. (Carter); her sons, Mark Carter, Lawrence Carter and Alfred J. Carter Jr.; and her siblings, Edward Garbutt, Kenneth Garbutt, Merton Garbutt, Jack Garbutt and Donald Garbutt.
She is survived by: her pet Chester; and her children, Sharon Miller, Patricia Kerwin, Sylvia Brown (Evans Mills), Robert Carter (Alex), Diane Money (Theresa), David Carter (Alex Bay), Charlene Arnold, Beverly Carter (Richard Carter LaFargeville), Edward Carter (Alex Bay), Nancy Tibbles (Timothy) and Timothy Carter (Pamela). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Due to current gathering restrictions and COVID-19 regulations, there will be no calling hours, burial will be held privately by the family.
