With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. George of Alexandria Bay, New York, born in Gouverneur, New York, who passed away on October 9, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill George and Madeline George; his wife Gail Conklin; and his sisters, Darlene George and Barb Baltz.
He is survived by: his children, Meredith Conklin George (Andrew Hendrickson) of Harrisville and Bronwyn George (Jeremy Tudor) of Montana; his siblings, Concetta George of Alexandria Bay, Jeannette Mashaw of Antwerp, Robert George of Alexandria Bay, Paul George of Theresa and Anne Newvine of Alexandria Bay; and his granddaughter Gabrielle George of Harrisville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his memory to be made to the Richville Fire department.
