He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several cousins and nieces and nephews.

“Maxwell "Damon" Shangraw....I was blessed to have him in my life. I loved him and he loved me (and my dog lucky, who he called "killer") Whenever I left after seeing, I always gave a hug and kiss, and told him I loved him. I'm very grateful I was able to see him a couple days before he passed. I'll hold all my memories close to my heart. He was and will continue to be a local legend.
