She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel J. Scanlon, Sr. and Mary Rose Scanlon (Gaynor); her children, Daniel (Lisa), George (Barbara) of Alexandria Bay, James (Cortney) of Syracuse, Mary Rose of Waverly, Robert (Rebecca) of Huntersville, NC and Anne of Alexandria, VA.; her grandchildren, Sheridan, Mac Talada of Waverly, Ewan, Cal McAloon of Huntersville, NC, Sawyer, Mason, Riley McAloon of Syracuse, Aidan of Alexandria Bay, Carter McAloon of Alexandria Bay, John of Alexandria Bay, Drake of Alexandria Bay and Rayne McAloon of Alexandria Bay; her siblings, Katie Peacock (Scanlon) of Phoenix, Arizona., Dr. John E. Scanlon, Daniel J. Scanlon, Jr. and Christopher; and her sisters-in-law, Peg Leach (McAloon), Deanne Scanlon (Canty) and Sally Scanlon. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family is forever grateful to the staff of the Syracuse Home for the excellent care that they provided to our mother at the Syracuse Home over the last six years, especially during the COVID pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Cyril's Catholic Church, River Hospital, and Macsherry Library, all located in Alexandria Bay.
