It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Hakes (Alexander, New York), born in Ellicottville, New York, who passed away on June 9, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hakes and Eva Graves Hakes. He is survived by: his sons, William Hakes (Barbara) of Batavia and Thomas Hakes (Bobbi) of Attica; his siblings, Betty Hackett and Roger Hakes; his grandsons, Joshua Hakes (Rachael) of Silver Springs, Justin Hakes (Brittany Stewart) of Attica, Grant Voges (Amanda) of Farmington and Timothy Voges of Ft. Stewart, GA.; and his great grandchildren, Addie, Kolton, Gavin and Katrina.
