He was predeceased by: his father Loren John Laney; and his wife Jo Ann Laney (Chapell). He is survived by: his mother Joanne Baker Laney of Alexander; his pet Molly; his daughters, Christine Salzlein (Kevin) of Alexander and Jennifer Brooks (Keith); his grandchildren, Myya Salzlein and Max Brooks; his great grandchild Myles McMaster; and his siblings, Thomas Laney, Patricia Collins (Gary), Stephen Laney (Cindy), Joseph Laney (Jody), Karen Laney (James Scalise), Susan McPherson (Joe), Matthew Laney (Lori) and Rosanne Radziej (Russell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory are suggested to Crossroads House, P.O. Box 403, Batavia, NY 14021 or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
