It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L. Schmieder (Alexander, New York), born in Batavia, New York, who passed away on June 14, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Cochran and Arlene Cochran (Gimm); her husband Arnold; and her sister Jeanne. She is survived by: her children, Bernard Schmieder (Jane), Jane Kershenski (Bruce), Gregory Schmieder (Kelly), Joseph Schmieder (Laura), Andrew Schmieder and Edward Schmieder (Caroline). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
