Roderick A. Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roderick A. Smith of Alder Creek, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Herman Smith and Ruth LaFountain Smith; his wife Linda Ludwikowski of Martin's Church; his children, William "Bill" Smith (Tracy Noble) of Verona and Crystal Girouard (Jim); his brother Brad Smith; his grandchildren, Kendall, Adrian, Ryan Girouard, Justin, Kodi, Paige Smith, Hailey Hoydic (Mason), Joseph and Connor Noble; and his great grandchild Tucker Hoydic. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. (143 Schuyler St, Boonville, NY 13309).
