He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Whiting (Nancy Wesoloski); and his brother Robert Whiting. He is survived by: his spouse Marion Whiting (Walker); his children, Donna Whiting and Kelly Gilliam; his grandchildren, Jami Whiting, Parker (Sara Chase), Leanne Jamieson, Lili and Justus Gilliam; and his great grandchildren, Eleanora and Hannah Whiting. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
