She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Heist; and her parents, Roy Willig and Patricia Willig. She is survived by: her husband Paul Heist; and her son Kevin. She is also survived by several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Batavia or the Lipson Cancer Center Batavia, NY.
