He was loved and cherished by many people including: his fiancée Gay Maria Norgren; his wife Barbara Ruhlman; his parents, Warren Ruhlman and Janis Ruhlman; his niece Leanne Kitanik (Jeff); and his great-niece Heather Kitanik.

Memorials may be made to the Alden Fire Dept. or the American Cancer Society.
