He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Annetta Gloss (Struntz); his children, Rosemary Pontillo (Jeff), Alice Bruce (Craig), Joseph Gloss (Lorraine), William Gloss (Judy Rast) and Melvin Jr. Gloss (Jason); his siblings, June Carter (late Daniel), Betty Anderson (Bob), Joan Gloss, Elvin, Frank, Norman, Shirley, Dolores, Geraldine, Carol Green (Daniel) and Lorraine Poe (Harold "Bud"); and his brother-in-law Joseph Struntz. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
