Herdzik; his parents, John Herdzik and Bertha Herdzik; his parent-in-law Casimer; his siblings, Edward (late Tillie), Bertha Pontikos (late Mike), Chester (late Irene), Florence Gerace (late Sal), Arthur (late Lottie), Mickey Leonard, Annie Hewitt (late James), Helen Wicher (Norbert), Mary and Mikey Herdzik; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Kania (late Dorene) and Casimer Kania (late Marjorie).
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Herdzik, Jr. (Barbara) and Joseph Herdzik (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Michael (Jody), Karla, Katherine and Margaret Ieraci (Justin); his great grandchildren, Anna, Michael Jr., Philip, AvaMae and Daniel; his mother-in-law Josephine Kania; his sister Elaine Jabcuga (James); and his siblings-in-law, Francis Kania (late Margaret) and Annette Battaglia (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
